/24-7PressRelease/ -- The North Carolina Indian-American Political Action Committee (NCINPAC) is hosting a discussion and rally to fight against terrorism and condemn the recent terrorist attacks in Mumbai.
The event will be held on Saturday, December 13 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Cambria Suites hotel (300 Airgate Drive) in Morrisville, N.C. and is free and open to the public. United States Congressman Brad Miller, Congressman David Price, Congressman Bob Etheridge, and other elected officials will attend the rally to listen to community concerns and discuss what proactive measures are being taken by the U.S. and Indian governments to prevent this type of violence in the South Asia region.
"NCINPAC condemns these terrorist attacks and we urge the U.S. government to work with the Indian and Pakistani governments to identify the perpetrators of these attacks and to ensure that such random violence does not occur again in India or any South Asian country", stated Dr. Subhash Gumber, Chairman of NCINPAC. "NCINPAC urges our Congressional delegation and the state of North Carolina to condemn this terrorist attack and we look forward to working with them to develop an anti terrorist policy in this region of the world."
