NEARLY-LOST TROVE OF GREAT MASTERS' ART REVEALED IN ITALY

Access To Centuries Of Spectacular, Classic Sculpture Made Possible By Creation Of Newly Formed Chiurazzi Worldwide Company

A quiet transaction on Friday, March 23rd promises profound implications in the global arts community.

/24-7PressRelease/ - LAS VEGAS, NV, March 28, 2007 - The creation of Chiurazzi Worldwide brings together remarkable history, talents and storied artistic assets of Fonderia Storica Chiurazzi, with resources, management and global insights from Mr. Gale Roberts and his team from the USA.

The near-mythic Chiurazzi collection includes 1,500 moulds directly made from masterpieces by Michelangelo, Bernini, Donatello and other important sculptors. These moulds — made over centuries, with full authority from the Vatican, governments and important museums — freeze great works as they once were, before years took their toll. Among the most prominent are the Laocoonte Group, Venus of Milo, Rape of Proserpine and Moses. Additionally, the collection contains some 600 moulds of artifacts excavated from Pompeii and Herculaneum.

Even more exciting, Mr. Roberts explains, "200 moulds remain to be identified. Imagine what we might find."

Chiurazzi's renditions are considered finest in the world. Their sculpture stands in museums and churches around the globe. It is hard to imagine this great foundry nearly foundered.

Chiurazzi was one of three Italian foundries authorized to capture these masterpieces, starting in the 1800s. By the late 20th century, only Chiurazzi and its meticulous moulds remained, a once-great company in bankruptcy.

The Setaro family, of Naples, rescued and preserved Chiurazzi; ever since seeking the right business relationship to help revive its dynasty. It wasn't until Luigi Setaro met Gale Roberts that he found a kindred spirit.

Their collaboration, Chiurazzi Worldwide, operates on two continents: Roberts represents all marketing, sales and communications from the USA. To maintain artistic integrity and quality, major Chiurazzi pieces will be cast and finished in the traditional manner, at the firm's historic foundry.

Gale Roberts explains: "We hold true to the craftsmanship that made Chiurazzi famous. Moreover, we will only cast a limited number from each mould, so each rendition accurately reflects the original."

Roberts will travel the world for Chiurazzi, placing public and private sculptures and exhibits. He will grow the number of Chiurazzi exhibitions — such as The Getty, The Ringling Museum, and The Field Museum in Chicago — as well as offering private collectors an opportunity to join the likes of Rockefellers and Rothschilds, personally owning a Chiurazzi bronze.
