TLC Dentistry tilts back the dental chair for American professional basketball player, Nerlens Noel.

LEXINGTON, KY, May 11, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Nerlens Noel, Philadelphia 76ers basketball player, spent the 2014 season on the bench due to an injury to his ACL. While he wasn't as active on the court, he has been active with his oral health. Just recently he made a visit to TLC Dentistry for a dental checkup.

"We are excited to see all of our patients that walk through our door. There are no favorites in this profession. We want to treat every patient with care, and that's why each dental case gets a careful amount of attention," says Dr. Chalothorn.

Nerlens Noel has one thing TLC Dentistry wants all of their patients to take up-dedication. It isn't luck or talent that keeps your teeth and gums healthy-it's dedication to your oral hygiene regiment.

You defend your oral health by brushing and flossing on a daily basis. And it can't be once a day-you need to take a shot for two times a day. There will be consequences for lack of oral hygiene, such as cavities, plaque, gingivitis and gum disease.

A regular dental checkup keeps stats on the health of your teeth and gum tissue. If you want your teeth to have a long career, keep it up with the at-home preventative care and bi-annual exams.
