Mr. Smith has been a consultant to organizations in Vietnam, Singapore and Kenya

Brisbane, AUSTRALIA, December 17, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Neville Smith is the director of Education Consultancy Services Australia, which serves to improve the educational opportunities available to learners at all levels, from early childhood all the way through undergraduate and graduate studies. A veteran of the industry with 36 years of experience to his credit, Mr. Smith has played a significant role in the development and forward progression of Australia's educational system. Prior to assuming his current position, he was principal of Woodcrest State College in Queensland, an enriching and challenging institution that allows for seamless transition from preparatory to secondary school. In developing the college, Neville was responsible for monitoring the work of architects, project managers and builders to ensure the facilities were completed on time, within budget and according to standards. During his tenure, Woodcrest was awarded numerous accolades and named one of Australia's leading institutions for e-learning, even becoming the first preparatory through 12th-year institution to feature an Apple Classroom of Tomorrow.

As one who believes education is key to advancements in his local community and abroad, Mr. Smith provides international consulting services for various institutions. While assessing the status quo and optimizing current procedures are certainly part of his responsibilities, perhaps most important are the plans he develops for organizations to follow in the future, which are based off his time-honed expertise and familiarity with which methods achieve the greatest results. Through high-level consultations with state and federal agencies, he delivered a vision for Education City, an educational hub in Greater Springfield that has focused on lifelong learning opportunities and career education since opening in 2006. Today it is recognized as one of the most outstanding and forward-thinking developments in Australian education of its day, while Neville continues offering his expert advice concerning personnel and government submissions.

Though much of his knowledge comes from real-world experience, Mr. Smith's credentials also include a postgraduate diploma in educational administration and a Bachelor of Education Studies from the University of Southern Queensland, as well as a teaching diploma from Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane. Prior to the late nineties, he was principal of a number of schools in Queensland and a support coordinator for as a many as 75 schools. He also established Springfield's TAFE, an institution for technical and further education, and a private school for indigenous girls. As he moves toward the 40-year mark of his career operating under the tagline "Looking beyond the horizon," he hopes to continue providing services that will improve the face of Australian education for years to come.
