Although this is Kaine's first book, she has been for many years a student of the hidden human being and is now a teacher in her own right. She shows a knack for making the complex relatively simple, and, while this book is certainly not something that can be breezed through in an afternoon, it is nonetheless a very practical guide to the process of awakening the soul, and in particular, becoming more aware of our thinking, our feelings and our intentions.
Kaine's use of simple examples and analogies works well in shedding light on what may otherwise be difficult concepts for some readers, and, let's be honest, if the process of bringing the soul and then the 'I' to life were simple, we all would have mastered it by now!
According to Kaine, this awakening process is what lies in front of all of humanity over the next few hundred years. With that understanding, I Connecting: the Soul's Quest is an important and timely contribution to the process.
