- NEW ORLEANS, LA, August 30, 2007 - In April, Monique Cooling jointed the Marriot New Orleans at the Convention Center as the new director of sales and marketing and already the New Orleans, LA hotel has seen positive changes.

A Louisiana native, Cooling began her career in the travel industry at the InterContinental New Orleans where she quickly climbed the ranks. Beginning as a Sales Manager, her dedication led her to posts including Director of Training and Development, Senior Sales Manager and her most recent role as the Assistant Director of Sales. Cooling's record of achievement driving sales revenue in a highly competitive market coupled with her tenacity in securing customer loyalty and forging strong relationships with business partners, makes her an asset to the Marriott New Orleans at the Convention Center.
