    LOS ANGELES, CA, May 05, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Film Tour's D. Channsin Berry announced the premiere for his new documentary, "The Black Line (Profile of the African American Woman) Part 3", an Urban Winter Entertainment film, promotion by Bay Area Productions. The film will screen in Oakland at the Grand Lake Theater, 3200 Grand Ave. on May 14, 2014 at 7:30 p.m. Directly after the screening there will be a Q&A with Producer/Director D. Channsin Berry. Tickets are $20 each and can be purchased at the theater box office and online at http://www.renaissancerialto.com/current/grandlake.htm. Berry explains why he is premiering the film in Oakland, "Oakland will always be HOME for me; when I was 22 years old I left New York and moved to Oakland. Oakland was a safe and nurturing place to find my true artistry and manhood." Additional dates will be announced.

About The Black Line Part 3 - "The Black Line (Profile of the African American Woman) Part 3" is the third installment of D. Channsin Berry's series on the condition, mindset, and voice of the modern African American. This film provides unprecedented insight into the history of African American women. Poignant stories are shared candidly by the women in their unique voice. Topics covered include cancer, sexuality, hue bias, urban violence, depression, and hope for a better future. "This particular film is done in a more relaxed, mature manner. Groups of women giving one another validation and acceptance in various situations."
