Producer Corin Birchall said "Whilst looking for some decent music to play for a Halloween party I realised that there wasn't much out there other than film themes and your obligatory Halloween tunes - Thriller by Michael Jackson, Ghostbusters by Ray Parker Jr or the Time Warp, whilst these are probably fine for kids, it wasn't what I had in mind" Corin goes on to say "I talked to some people and asked what would make the perfect Halloween soundtrack, and set to work on it". When asked if Corin would play the tracks at his party, he said "of course, that's why I did them - I don't even have to buy them!"
