NEW PRODUCT FROM NATURAL LIFE DRUMS UP SUPPORT
FOR MILITARY SURVIVOR PROGRAM
-Company donates proceeds from Dog Tag Necklace sales to
Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors-

/24-7PressRelease/ - JACKSONVILLE, FL, August 16, 2006 - With the recent introduction of Dog Tag Necklaces, Natural Life expands its growing catalog of gifts and keepsakes but, more important, affirms its commitment to the community.

The Florida-based gift company has announced it will donate a portion of the sales from its Dog Tag Necklaces to TAPS (Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors), a non-profit Veteran Service Organization dedicated to helping American Armed Forces families who have lost loved ones in the line of duty.

Designed after the metal identification tags worn by members of the military, Natural Life Dog Tag Necklaces feature three unique charms which hang from a silver necklace: crystal beads, a painted metal charm and mini "dog tag" with words of inspiration.

The decision to donate a portion of the sales of the Dog Tag Necklaces to TAPS was obvious to Patti Hughes, Natural Life founder and President. "Being headquartered in northeast Florida where there is a very strong military presence, we are reminded every day of the sacrifices made not only by the men and women who protect and serve our country but by their families who support them," she said.

"Of course, we know there is nothing we can do to erase the heartache of losing a loved one. But organizations like TAPS are there for families in their time of need, and we want to make sure they have the resources they need to do so."

The necklaces made their gift show debut in Dallas last month, and Hughes said they were the best seller in their new product category.

The Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors, Inc. was founded following the deaths of eight soldiers aboard an Army National Guard aircraft in November 1992 when surviving family members turned to each other for support. Recognizing that losing a loved one in the line of military duty is a unique kind of loss, TAPS offers hope, healing, comfort and care to the thousands of American armed forces families each year. For more information on TAPS, visit www.taps.org.
