New Quartz Infrared Heater Could Save Americans Over Half On Their Heating Bill
Lookout gas companies, there is a new sheriff in town when it comes to cheap winter heat for the home.

GAINESVILLE, FL, January 07, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Market manipulations, market speculations, or whatever you wish to call it, the gas industry is in for some troubled times ahead looking at the new wave of quartz infrared heaters that are getting hard to keep on store shelves this year.

Why all the fuss over infrared heaters since they have been around for years? There is a new design with a heating box and a small fan that forces the heat out and keeping the quartz lights that produce the heat doing their job, and all at a fraction of the cost of most heating gases and oils.

What makes these new heaters so cheap to operate? The cost of electricity to operate an infrared heater is extremely low. A 1,500 watt unit will consume about 18 cents of electricity per hour if run continuously. However, these new heaters do not run all the time, instead they run on a thermostat and cycle at about a 50% ratio, effectively reducing the hourly cost to around 9 cents an hour.

At about a dollar a day in operating cost, the average American home can cut their heating bill by leaps and bounds with this new quartz infrared heater system and not pay the normal gas and oil bills that eat up millions and millions of consumers dollars each winter.

The heat from these heaters is also considered radiant heat, which means it does not need a return system, so once it warms the home, it just reheats the same air instead of drawing in cold air that has to be cycled because of the burning of the gas and oil. No more drafts.
