/24-7PressRelease/ - MENLO PARK, CA, February 24, 2008 -- Mission Scientific, creators of the new SensiClear acne treatment system, selects California model Eli Jane as its official face for 2008. According to Charles Benard, Chief Marketing Officer for Mission Scientific, Eli was chosen as the model with the most improved skin after a 28-Day Model Challenge conducted in conjunction with The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency.

"After just three days, my acne disappeared," said Eli. "SensiClear is life changing for me. Before SensiClear, I couldn't even get an agent. Since SensiClear, my face is completely clear and I have booked with Sebastion, Smashbox, Vincent Longo, music videos,...literally I have been busy every week working," she added. "Now, that I have clear skin, anything is possible."

Eli Jane, who had put her career on hold for awhile, wanted to return to modeling but acne flare-ups kept holding her back. She wasn't alone. Others who answered the open casting call for models with acne included Meagan Tandy, Miss California 2007, who was a finalist in the SensiClear Model Challenge.

"Probably a lot of people watching the show had no idea that models and beauty queens can have problem skin," said Benard. "Most models spend a lot of time and money trying to find proactive acne solutions that can help keep their skin camera-ready," he said. When pimples crop up, models have to add extra make-up to cover them up and that only contributes to the problem."

Unlike systems such as Proactiv, the SensiClear system is the only acne treatment system with the exclusive patented ingredient Retextra. SensiClear treatment lotion with Retextra has the ability to penetrate and unclog pores, while simultaneously smoothing and softening the skin's surface.

"SensiClear with Retextra helps visibly retexture your skin and give it a healthy glow," said Benard. "This is the most advanced acne skincare treatment that can be purchased without a prescription. While Proactiv uses ingredients that are in many other acne products such as benzoyl peroxide, the SensiClear system actually brings a new solution to the marketplace.
