/24-7PressRelease/ - SAN CLEMENTE, CA, February 20, 2008 — Starting on March 30, business professionals will have the opportunity to step away from their day-to-day lives and train to conquer the highest point in the lower 48 states.
More importantly, however, the Mt. Whitney Peak Performance Challenge's Built2Last90Days program allows participants to expand their mind, body and spirit, while achieving new levels of development.
"I've learned that everyone wants to live on top of the mountain, but all the happiness and growth occurs while you're climbing it," said program trainer Lois Tiedemann, a professional speaker, multiple-time Ironman triathlete and Transformational Success Coach. "What we've created is a 90-day journey that will take participants to the next level of happiness and growth - in and outside of the business environment."
The Built2Last90Days program is limited to 10 participants and involves 12 weeks of adventure instruction. The training culminates with an eight-day adventure through the Sierra Nevada Mountains and - on the seventh day - a climb to Mt. Whitney's 14,500-foot summit.
Program trainers include Tiedemann and Kevin Jackson, a NOLS certified Wilderness First Responder and owner of The Southern Terrain.
In addition to 12 weeks of adventure training, participants will receive transportation, meals, technical gear (e.g., tents, stoves, packs, sleeping bags), a Patagonia water and windproof jacket, accommodations outside National Park, and park permits. Participants can also participate in bi-weekly preparation seminars.
Participants will depart San Clemente at 8 a.m. on Saturday, June 21, and return by 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 28.
The fee for the Built2Last90Days program is $4,500.
