The answer is a resounding yes, says Tarot pioneer and business strategist James Wanless, Ph.D, who puts the question to rest in a new video series.
Often cast darkly in TV and movies, Tarot has a reputation for dire predictions, not personal insight. But Dr. Wanless firmly rejects that notion. "The idea of a Tarot card reader proclaiming the future for a client who sits passively back to accept his or her fate is outdated," he says. "It's time to give the power back to the people."
Says Wanless, "We need to bring Tarot out of the musty medieval closet and into the light of a new holistic world view."

By combining Tarot with his "mantra for manifestation" ("see it, feel it, believe it, do it"), Wanless demonstrates how anyone can create the life they desire.

Using Tarot for practical application is nothing new for Wanless, whose 28-year career has taken him into the boardrooms of companies worldwide as a Tarot coach and creativity consultant. His bestselling Voyager Tarot deck broke new ground in the 80's, with its evocative collages replacing the medieval scenes on the classic decks.
