After the incident of alleged excessive force by police officers, Reed apparently looked like a victim of
police brutality. His mother said her son was left "black and blue," reported the
New York Post.
The officers allege Reed "resisted handcuffs, and punched and head-butted one of the officers," reported the
New York Daily News (2/1/2012). Reportedly, officers also saw Reed trying to discard drugs before the video began.
