According to Moore, anyone can purchase a New York Minute from any point in time. Minutes are available from past years and may be reserved for future years. This means customers can collect a minute that is unique to them. For example, an individual may want to purchase a New York Minute in recognition of a birthday or wedding day.
Currently New York Minute is in discussions with the New York Giants to award the team a New York Minute in honor of their 2008 Super Bowl Win. Additionally, talks are underway with the New York Yankees to honor the team with their very own minute in recognition of their new stadium, Moore said.
