FORT WORTH, TX, December 06, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/
-- When it comes to the ideal wedding venue and event center, it is hard to imagine anything more unique or romantic than a converted 20-stall horse barn and paddock.
At least that's the way Ron Sturgeon's mind works.
Yes that Ron Sturgeon
, local real estate developer recently featured on CNBC's Blue Collar Millionaires
, he of the over one-million square feet of small, multi-use commercial properties in Tarrant County, he of the first, and only, Fort Worth business park made entirely out of shipping containers
, Box Office Warehouse Suites
Sturgeon is now in the wedding venue and event center market, and he couldn't be more excited about it.
"Are you kidding me?" Sturgeon recently stated. "Who wouldn't want to get married in a barn with terrific atmosphere and character? Anyone can rent some bland DFW wedding and event center, some cavernous hall which will hold 500 people and have all the romanticism of a crypt. We believe people want something more, something memorable, and this old Percheron paddock is definitely memorable."
One walk through the 4,000 square foot barn bears out what Sturgeon says. With over 200 parking spots, handy central location right off Interstate 35 and with loads of character, The Barn seems to have it all.
"We had offers to tear the barn down when we first purchased this property," Sturgeon continues. "Ideas were floated around about building a standard-issue business park, something safe from the accepted template for industrial properties for lease
. I just couldn't do it. This barn is what Texas is all about, and I'm betting there are enough people out there who want a special venue for a rustic wedding, or other event, to make this all profitable. Anyone can do normal, but that doesn't mean it's the best choice."
The Barn offers convenient location, tons of parking, computerized magnetic locks on doors, FOB entry after hours, a kitchenette and remodeled restrooms.
"This place is magic, and magic is what a wedding event venue should be all about," Sturgeon said.
