NFL Pros Jeremy Zuttah and Manny Collins to Join Brian Leonard Football Camp

    /24-7PressRelease/ - TOMS RIVER, July 11, 2008 - Elite Camp Services has announced that Tampa Bay Buccaneers Offensive Lineman Jeremy Zuttah and former New York Jets Cornerback Manny Collins have joined the roster of guest instructors at the Brian Leonard Football Camp. The camp will be held from July 16 through 20, 2008 at The College of New Jersey in Ewing, New Jersey, and will feature St. Louis Rams Fullback Brian Leonard. Leonard will also be joined by Baltimore Ravens Running Back Ray Rice in camp as a Guest Instructor.

There is still time to register for camp to learn from the four NFL pros who were Scarlet Knight teammates at Rutgers University. Camp registration, which is open to young football players entering grades one through 12, is now open through the first day of camp on July 16. Top college and high school football coaches will provide camp instruction as well.

Zuttah, who played four seasons with the Scarlet Knights, was a two-time First Team All Big East selection. He started 28 straight games to finish his collegiate career and did not allow a sack over his last two seasons. Collins, who is currently a free agent, recorded 68 tackles, two interceptions and four fumble recoveries in his four seasons at Rutgers. He was signed by the Jets as a rookie free agent in 2007.

Leonard, a three-time All American standout at Rutgers University and a second round NFL draft pick in 2007 by the St. Louis Rams, was one of the most outstanding players in the history of the Scarlet Knights Football Program. Ray Rice was the all-time leading rusher at Rutgers, with 4,926 yards and 49 TD's on 910 carries. He was the first player in the school's 138-year history to rush for over 1,000 yards in three seasons. He was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in the 2nd Round of the 2008 draft.
