/24-7PressRelease.com/ - In October 2004, several NH residents were among approximately 50 visual artists accepted for juried membership into the Cambridge Art Association (CAA). Area artists include

-- Randy Knowles of Goffstown, NH (www.rknowles.com), an award-winning painter specializing in both the New England countryside and the urban landscape

-- Paula Super of Merrimack, NH, an award-winning oil painter whose work has been described as “eclectic, raw and primitive.”

Lynne Guimond Findlay of Merrimack, NH (www.freewebs.com/lgfindlay), an award-winning photographer specializing in travel and fine art images

"A great strength of the Cambridge Art Association is its appeal to artists from all over New England," says Kathryn Schultz, director of the 60-year-old association. “I am pleased to welcome these new artists to our roster of artists and art lovers.”

About the Cambridge Art Association:

The Cambridge Art Association (http://www.cambridgeart.org) is located near Harvard Square in Cambridge, Massachusetts. It was founded during World War II to foster a supportive environment for artists and art lovers and, today, boasts more than 600 juried members. It encourages developing and emerging artists by showing their work in exhibitions and promoting the art through a sales and rental department. 20 exhibitions are offered annually in the Association's two gallery spaces: the Kathryn Schultz Gallery and University Place Gallery. The group also arranges shows in the Boston area venues, such as The Federal Reserve Bank, and The Wainwright Bank at Kendall Square.
