/24-7PressRelease/ -- Nick Ferrara, prominent attorney in the entertainment industry and long-time friend of Bob Wolf, has joined the Green Train Project team to provide legal oversight. A partner of Serling, Rooks, and Ferrara (www.srfllp.com), he represents such popular artists as John Mayor, Maroon5, and Fallout Boy, just to name a few. Additionally, Ferrara has worked with Pantera, Chevelle Gavin DeGraw, The Corrs, Creed, Damageplan, Savage Garden, Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Breaking Benjamin, and Saliva, and Collective Soul.
Ferrara first stepped into the music scene, after graduating from NYU, after browsing through Tower Records and coming across an independent EP by RATT. He was so enamored with the band, that he relayed the band's information to NYU classmate Jason Flom (founder of Lava Records and former CEO of Atlantic Records). With Flom's assistance, Ferrara facilitated the union between RATT and Atlantic, with President Doug Morris. The group then went on to record a number of albums, several of which went platinum. Six years later and a degree from Fordham Law School, Morris called upon Ferrara to join Atlantic. In 1992, Ferrara finally settled into his current law practice with Joseph Serling and Wayne rooks.
ABOUT BOB WOLF AND THE GREEN TRAIN PROJECT
The four-year vision of Bob Wolf, The Green Train Project (www.greentrainglobal.org), started in 2005, will educate the public and enlist global support to help reverse the continued waste and destruction of our planet. Scheduled to depart from Portland in April 2010, The Green Train, a solar-powered, biodiesel machine, will pass through every geographic region in the USA during a 10-week, 28-state whistle stop tour finishing in Washington, D.C. The Green Train is planning a trek in Europe in 2011 and a simultaneous train ride on each continent of the world each year after that. As The Green Train holds informational festivals and whistle stops throughout the nation, the public can meet the train in small town America, as well as the larger cities, to learn more and become involved.
