The new NX Client, Server, and Node 3.1.0 releases collectively integrate a number of key features and fixes. Among these new releases you will find the following improvements:
Improved Support for NX Client on Vista
Following NoMachine's commitment to work with a wide variety of software, NX Client for Windows is now fully compatible with Windows Vista. NX Client for Windows conforms to the new Vista design philosophy and to the use of the User Account Control (UAC) mechanisms in place for Vista. NX Client performance has also been enhanced for running full-screen NX sessions on Vista.
Enhanced Printing Support
Adjustments have been made to NX 3.0 to make printing support more reliable for NX 3.1.0. There is now more support for printing on older Linux distributions. Enhancements were added to support non-default installations of CUPS.
New Support for Fedora 8
Better support has been established for running NX products on Fedora 8 with SELinux enabled. In the process of maintaining NoMachine's goal of compatibility within 30 days of a supported operating system production release, Fedora 8 has now been officially added to the supported distributions list for NoMachine NX.
Easier Installation With Set-Up Scripts
Installation and upgrade procedures have been improved because the NX Node and NX Server now provide as alias for executing the setup scripts.
