FLINTSHIRE, UK November 18, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- A fast-growing British firm is celebrating after winning a contact to supply its eco-heating system to an exclusive development of luxury homes in a millionaire's hotspot.

Allbrite UK is selling its cutting edge under floor heating system to a developer in Jersey. But before the developer agreed to install the flat ribbon heating into the GBP1m-plus houses, he lay down a testy challenge.

Allbrite customer Patrick O'Lynn explained: "I installed Allbrite under floor heating for developer Terry Graham when he had an extension on his own home. He was a bit wary at the time and told me that his wife goes away to Spain every winter complaining their house gets too cold. Terry warned me that if she went away again, I'd be paying!"

Needless to say, Patrick, owner of Tilynn Ceramics, has yet to pay Mrs Graham's airfare.

Russell White, owner of Allbrite UK couldn't be more pleased that the wealthy of Jersey are benefiting from his revolutionary product. However, he stressed that customers do not need a millionaire's bank account to benefit from his eco-systems.

Russell said: "The beauty of our heating systems is that they are cheap to install and cheap to run. It's luxury living without the luxury price tag. We estimate that our flat ribbon system will save between 40-50% on household heating bills.

"It's easy to install, suitable for any home - new or existing - and unlike other under floor heating systems causes minimum disruption."

The new contract will see Allbrite supply flat ribbon under floor heating and oak flooring to five, luxury, four bedroom, three bathroom homes in St Ouen, Jersey.

Due for completion in February/ March 2010, the houses are expected to sell for around GBP1m each.

Developed by the Russians during the cold war for military purposes, the flat ribbon heating system can be fitted under any floor and can take less than five minutes to heat a room.

Allbrite is one of the fastest growing companies in North East Wales, employing 14 people. It runs what is believed to be the only eco-retail showroom in the UK, on Chester St, Mold. The showroom uses solar panels for hot water and photo voltaic cells to generate electricity for heating and lighting, so operates with no heating and lighting costs.

The company's head office and warehouse are also in Mold.

Russell and Sandra were so convinced of the efficiency of Allbrite products that they installed them when renovating their own three bedroom home in Northop Hall, Flintshire. As a result they slashed more than GBP1,000 off their annual domestic energy bill.
