Linda's scaphoid bone may be broken, "but there is holiday shopping to do and jewelry to be sold," says Linda, sporting her purple cast.
"I've been making items for shows since July and I had to cancel two shows in November. So, I chose to have a home show and discount some items to give people a chance to find affordable holiday gift items. Also, I'm making room for new jewelry with new gemstone and glass findings, after I'm out of the cast. I love designing new necklaces and bracelets. "
The show is on Sunday, November 18 from 1-3 p.m. Normally, Linda would be at craft fairs and other people's homes with her hand crafted, beaded jewelry designs. Now, her creative designs will be on display possibly for the last time in 2007.
Retailers have been displaying holiday items since before Halloween and are marking down items to encourage holiday spending.
"It's such a great feeling when you can do what you love and make gift items others will enjoy. Handmade items have that special, personal touch."
