LOS ANGELES, CA, September 03, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Le Chene French Cuisine, a long-time Santa Clarita local favorite restaurant along Sierra Highway, has announced that they will be hosting a Beaujolais Nouveau day event on Thursday, November 16 to celebrate the arrival of the new wine of the year. This special celebration, which is one of France's most loved festivals, is held annually on the third Thursday of November, when wine lovers can finally proclaim "Le Beaujolais nouveau est arrive!" In honor of this popular French tradition, Le Chene invites all guests to drink and enjoy this year's vintage, along with a specially prepared three course meal to pair with the delicious, unique tasting wine from this year's harvest.
This dinner at Le Chene is a prepaid event and costs a total of $52.00 per person, which will cover the cost of the wine, food, tax, and tip. Le Chene French cuisine opened in September 1980 by chef owner Juan Alonso. Through remodeling and expansions Le Chene has grown in size and customer base to become a true destination restaurant located only an hour from downtown Los Angeles and minutes from the heart of Santa Clarita.
Le Chene is located in a secluded oasis of Santa Clarita, surrounded by centennial oak trees, which is where Le Chene (The Oaks, in French) gets its name. Le Chene is truly a place to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. The outside of Le Chene has the look of a small castle, made of river rock. Once you open the door the rock motif continues through the entrance then opens to a large bar overlooking the garden, an underground wine cellar full of mature wine and an open patio shaded by oak trees.
Le Chene Restaurant has been awarded year after year with the Best of Award of Excellence by the Wine Spectator for our wine list. We are fortunate to possess an underground cellar which is ideal for the storage and aging of fine wines.
