/24-7PressRelease/ - KANSAS CITY, MO, January 17, 2008 - The National Portable Storage Association has broken the 400-member mark in less than five years. The industry's nonprofit membership association dedicated to the advancement of the portable storage industry now boasts 405 members.
"Our members are our top priority. Since we launched in October 2003, we have steadily grown our ranks by offering valuable benefits to vendors in the industry," said John Finnessy, CMP, Executive Director the National Portable Storage Association, or NPSA. "From networking to educational seminars to legislative efforts, we have built our association by helping our members build their businesses."
The NPSA helps vendors generate new business by offering a free Web site to all its members, and an exclusive customer referral program. Educational seminars and conventions offer members opportunities to learn about new facets of the industry and to network with successful professionals around the country. NPSA member voices are heard in the government arena through the association's local, state and federal legislative efforts. The NPSA also address insurance solutions and keeps members informed about issues that make an impact on their bottom line through a newsletter and association Web site.
"The portable storage industry offers opportunities and challenges for its vendors," said NPSA Operations Manager Joel Rathbone. "Opportunities in the form of the growing demand for portable storage solutions, and challenges in the form of municipalities who may not yet understand the benefits of our product. The NPSA addresses both the opportunities and the challenges."
