Under the terms of the agreement, Omnilink will provide PBUS members preferred rates on its Focalpoint offender monitoring solution, the industry's only product that is completely waterproof and capable of tracking people inside buildings, buses, trains and places where other GPS solutions do not work.
PBUS members include bail agents, commonly referred to as bondsmen, who keep track of defendants between arraignment and trial. These agents are ultimately responsible for ensuring defendant attendance at pre-trial hearings and at trial. If the defendant does not appear, the bail agent is charged a civil penalty in the amount of the bail bond.
