On the Border Mexican Grill & Cantina Rocks the Border with Live Music Series

    DALLAS, TX, July 01, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Get ready to turn up the volume on hot, summer fun. On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina , the nation's largest casual dining Mexican restaurant, and Avocados From Mexico, the top-selling avocado in the United States, have partnered to celebrate the best of Summer with free, outdoor live-music concerts in July. Popular bands will play every Friday at select On the Border locations and performances will be live audio streamed to over 140 On The Border restaurants nationwide.

"Enjoying live music, cold drinks, and delicious guacamole is what Summer is all about," said Ashley Zickefoose, Chief Marketing Officer for On The Border. "We want to help our guests celebrate the spirit of Summer and our Rock the Border Music Series does just that." Rock the Border is a one-of-a-kind five-week music series that features the best local and up-and-coming artists from around the country. Each of the Rock the Border acts has been hand-picked for their signature Summer sound and local popularity. In addition, On The Border will be offering $2.50 fresh made appetizer guacamole as well as $2.50 Estrella Jalisco bottles where allowed for the entire month of July. "Fresh guacamole made with always-in-season Avocados From Mexico and live music at one of the country's most popular Tex-Mex restaurants is the perfect way for our brands to unite and engage fans in a fun, meaningful way," added Alvaro Luque, president of Avocados From Mexico.

The first show will take place on Friday, July 1st in Addison, Texas with Charley Crockett and Rise & Shine. For guests who are not in the area but want to hear the live music concert, they can visit their local On The Border Restaurant and enjoy the music streamed live inside the restaurant and patio.
