The 2nd Annual Best of Oncology West Conference is a day-long meeting that will educate oncology professionals on advances in cancer treatment, categorized by nine different tumour topics including melanoma, lung cancer, myeloma, lymphoma, breast cancer, GI colorectal cancer, GI non-colorectal cancer, GU prostate cancer and GU non-prostate cancer. Meeting objectives include:

The conference will be co-Chaired by Sharlene Gill, BSc, MD MPH, FRCP(C), Wendy Lam, BSc, MD, FRCP(C), Director of the Society of Hematology and Oncology of British Columbia at the British Columbia Medical Association (BCMA); and Sunil Verma BSc, MD, MEd, FRCP(C) and Scott Berry, BSc, MD, MHSc, FRCP(C), Medical Directors of OncologyEducation.com. Dr. Wendy Lam is a hematologist and medical oncologist at the Burnaby Hospital Regional Cancer Center and the founding Director of the British Columbia Community Oncology Trialists. Dr. Sharlene Gill is an Associate Professor in the Division of Medical Oncology and an Associate Faculty member in the Division of Gastroenterology at the University of British Columbia, and a gastrointestinal medical oncologist at the British Columbia Cancer Agency in Vancouver. Dr. Verma is an Associate Professor at the University of Toronto and the Chair of Breast Medical Oncology at the Sunnybrook Odette Cancer Centre. Dr. Scott Berry is a medical oncologist at Sunnybrook Odette Cancer Centre and an Associate Professor at the University of Toronto
