www.Carrentals.co.uk show that throughout the third quarter of 2010 there has been an increase in the demand for two and three week car rentals.
Data from the reports were based on the number of car rentals booked throughout July 2010 up to September 2010, some examples of results that emerged included seven day car hire bookings took up 22% of
car rentals and 14 day bookings say 8% of cars being booked out. Both of these findings were up by 1% as opposed to the previous year.
The results also found there was an apparent trend, as many Brits had extended their rentals turning weekend trips in to a mini holiday. Four and five day car rentals were reported to take up 17% of bookings and saw an increase of 3% compared to the previous year. Two and three day bookings however, had decreased from 20% to 18% over that past year.
