One Call Claims Named Mary Anne Medina Director of Business Development

The announcement was made today from the company's headquarters in Mobile, Alabama, by Co-Founder and CEO Kelly Smoot and Founder.

Mary Anne Medina is a highly skilled industry professional and recognized consultant and expert. She recently served in the leadership role as Vice President of Vale Training Solutions, the most established insurance training institution in the industry founded 70 years ago. She was the first and only woman to serve in that role. She has extensive experience in claims processes redesign and developing claims handling departmental procedures and training. Her experience includes development of training, processes, and reporting she has worked with multiple top 10 P&C Insurers and Fortune 500 companies. She is a well-known consultant and expert with an emphasis on liability loss adjusting, bad faith, negotiations and claims management. Her background of experience covers a wide geographic area, with both catastrophic and daily claims handling, with carriers, TPAs, self-insureds and IAs.

In her new role she will oversee client growth and account management with active participation in other areas of the overall strategic implementation of the development of new products and services that One Call Claims will offer to their existing and new clients.

Mary Anne is involved in and holds several positions on committees in key industry organizations, she has written over 300 articles and is regularly published in many industry publications. She has authored a featured column in Claims Management titled "Who's at Fault" and has authored several cover stories for Claims magazine. She will continue her involvement and passion for the industry. "I am enthusiastic and eager to accept this position with such an emerging force as an IA in the industry," said Medina.
