/24-7PressRelease/ - LONDON, UK, June 24, 2007 - A research by the Council of Mortgage Lenders reveals that 80 per cent of people having access to broadband connection use the Internet to search for financial products and services.
The online method to take out personal loans, credit cards and many other financial products is quite popular among all the age groups, especially the young ones. It is a little surprise that 85 per cent of those aged 18 to 25 said that they have searched for loans online. The online search for personal loans is not limited to any specific age group.
Even the old age groups were not too far behind the younger group. More than eighty per cent of 26 to 45 age group and 75 per cent of those aged between 46 and 60 said that they searched online for financial services. The survey involved 650 Equifax Personal Solutions customers.
Although, the online security was the biggest concern of the Internet users, the use of the Internet was quite rampant among all the age groups.
