/24-7PressRelease/ - EDMOND, OK, August 22, 2008 - The Back-to-school season reminds us of a continuing decline in classroom funding. This decline of resources affects our children's education by reducing the dollars available to classroom teachers as they strive to ensure an effective learning environment for our children. Teacher's need resources to provide the educational foundation for our kid's success. Solving the shortage of classroom funding is the reason behind the launch of a new website.

BuyToTeach.com (www.buytoteach.com) creates a new source of much needed funding to classrooms by capturing commissions earned through its online shopping portal and allocating those funds to improve the classroom experience.

Teachers, administrators and PTA/PTO groups partner with BuyToTeach.com to increase classroom funding. When the partnership is created, all purchases through the partner's mall are tracked. Supporters make purchases at any of the over 250 participating online stores. BuyToTeach.com allocates up to 80% of the commissions paid by the merchants to the classroom. Classrooms increase the rewards when they invite other classroom teachers to join the BuyToTeach.com program.

"It is amazing to see the difference, in terms of dollars, that just a few families shopping to support a classroom can make in the level of education available to students in that classroom. Our goal for the 2008 school-year is to send support to 2008 classrooms. We are announcing a new promotion to help us reach that goal", says Greg Tillman, Founder of BuyToTeach.com. The "2008 for 2008 in 2008" Promotional Campaign provides for several cash grants (up to $2,008) to be awarded to classrooms that join the BuyToTeach.com program. Classrooms become eligible for one of the grants when they join the program and invite parents and friends of the classroom to make online purchases through the classroom's online shopping mall. By referring other schools and classroom teachers to the BuyToTeach.com program, classroom teachers can greatly increase their chances of receiving a share of the grant money.
