Only Factory Direct was created by a team of engineers, sales reps, and audio store retailers with over 52 years of audio expertise and contacts as a team. Mike Lewis founder and CEO, has been involved in the speaker and reconing business for over 20 years, and watched small stereo stores over the years get swallowed up by big box stores. When asked what was wrong with big box stores, he responded, "these big box stores rarely have the best pricing because of the million dollar ad campaigns and when you want to return something you get stone-walled." Then Lewis explains, "It seemed to me that people were rarely happy with their buying experience and receive lack luster service at best.
