Ophlie Winter, French Queen of R'n'B

/24-7PressRelease/ -- Ophelie Winter's new album, "Resurrection," is a collection of 12 songs about renewal, rebirth, and, like the title says, resurrection. Recorded in France, the album hit the airwaves on May 19th accompanied by the hit single "Affection," to critical and popular acclaim, with both reaching No. 1 on the music charts. Besides singer and songwriter, Winter added another title to her musical career: producer.
"I put all my heart into this album," Winter said. "Being a producer is a wonderful challenge, but it requires a lot of work. Everything has to be right, and I spent weeks and weeks listening to my album in the car, at home, everywhere - making sure that the songs were perfect."
Known as the French "Queen of R'n'B", Winter returns to the international music scene after a seven-year hiatus. The "Resurrection" album marks a return to the catchy, electro-pop songwriting that characterizes her best work, drawing comparisons to Madonna and Shania Twain. In March, she came roaring back with a new single "Affection," garnering heavy radio play and re-establishing her unique sound and vocals on the airwaves.
"It feels great to get back in the studio and create music again," Winter said. "My vocals are better than ever and my songwriting has matured. With 'Resurrection,' I feel like I've really grown as a musician."
