Brands & the Counterfeiting Quandary workshop at New York City's Union League Club on November 11, 2008. This is the 4th annual conference presented by AAFA's Brand Protection Council on intellectual property and best practices. Attendees will hear industry and governments leaders discuss effective strategies and tactics to combat counterfeiters in both the physical and digital worlds.
Dean Hill will present "What's Next?" during the Technology Advancements session. He will share insights on past and future developments in product authentication and optical imaging technologies for anti-counterfeiting. Leveraging the latest security technologies enables brand owners to take a proactive approach to stay ahead of counterfeiters.
Dean has over 25 years of security industry experience, and has been instrumental in pioneering some of the industry's most advanced anti-counterfeiting technologies. Dean is responsible for leading the research and development efforts of OpSec's proprietary optical imaging technologies, manufacturing processes, and production equipment. He provides strategic vision and direction in the innovative development of OpSec's first-to-market optical security capabilities which are used to provide customized solutions for each application.
