WHAT: Staff, board members, affiliates and partners of the Independence Visitor Center will be in attendance at a special outdoor reception at Independence Al Fresco, the new outdoor caf at the Center. Guests will be able to sample food from the caf 's "Presidential Menu" while enjoying the first of the "Music on the Mall" summer concert series.
WHEN: Thursday, June 19, 2008 (5 p.m. - 7 p.m.)
WHY: To celebrate the opening of the caf and kickoff "Music on the Mall", a concert series to be held every Thursday evening throughout the summer, in which guests will hear classic tunes from local artists in front of Independence Hall. The series is free to the public.
