    PORTLAND, OR, November 7, 2010 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- Stanford Who's Who welcomes Lana L. Traynor to the ranks of leading professionals as a result of her spectacular work in the Legal Services Industry. As an Attorney and Owner of Lana L. Traynor LLC, Lana has consistently demonstrated the vision, dedication and diligence necessary to be considered among the best.

Lana L. Traynor LLC is a law firm which specializes in representing students with disabilities with getting appropriate services in public schools, private schools and universities. They also assist students who are facing suspension or expulsion. The firm is known for providing compassionate counsel to families and people with special needs.

Lana relates well to families of disabled children as she herself comes from a special needs family. Two of her three children needed early intervention services because of learning differences. In 1999, one of her children was diagnosed with a disability and needed special education services that were not available abroad. During the search for resources, Lana learned firsthand that the special education process was extremely complex and difficult to navigate. Fueled by her experience as well as her background as an attorney, she was inspired to assist students with special needs and their families in navigating the education maze.

During her educational career, Lana earned a Bachelor's degree in Spanish with a minor in Japanese from Whitman College in 1988, and a Juris Doctorate degree in Law from Lewis and Clark Northwestern Law School in 1993. She is licensed to practice law in Oregon, Washington and California and has represented clients in all three states. Lana is also admitted to practice law in the United States District Court for the District of Oregon, the United States District Court for the Western District of Washington and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

Lana is the Chairperson of the Oregon State Bar Association's Disability Law Section. She also serves on the Board of the Providence Child Center Foundation. She is a member of the Multnomah Bar Association and Oregon Women Lawyers. Lana has received a 10.0 AV Rating from AVVO. In the time away from her busy schedule, Lana greatly enjoys spending time with her family as well as fishing, horseback riding, needlepoint, reading, crossword puzzles and skeet shooting. She also loves flying with her husband Greg who is a licensed pilot.
