Stanford Who's Who/ -- Stanford Who's Who welcomes Wendylee B. Playford to the ranks of leading professionals as a result of her sensational work in the Social Services Industry. As Managing Director of Biala Support Services Inc. for the past 7 years, Wendylee has consistently demonstrated the vision, dedication and diligence necessary to be considered among the best.
Biala Support Services is a nonprofit organization which provides services for children and adults with intellectual and physical disabilities. They have the Biala Special School, which is an independent school which provides a range of specialist services for students with disabilities such as autism, Down syndrome and cerebral palsy. There is also the North Coast Fun Club which provides monthly planned, safe, appropriate and supported outings and activities to clients who have an intellectual disability who are aged 18 years of age and older. In addition, they offer the Striker's Bowling League and the Melaleuca House, which is a short term respite care facility.
Wendylee is responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of the organization and is accountable to the voluntary Board of Management. She has 20 years of administrative office management experience from various positions across Australia. Wendylee has a true understanding of the challenges faced by families with children and adults with special needs as she is the youngest child of seven children with a sister who has an intellectual and physical disability.
