/24-7PressRelease/ - LONDON, ENGLAND, September 23, 2007 - The new service is available from The Law Society in partnership with the OyezStraker Group and was launched to coincide with the expansion of the UK Government's HIP scheme to include 3-bedroom properties.
Nick Hodges, OyezStraker Business Services Director, says 'We anticipated strong demand for the Law Society bureau HIP because a recent survey organized by the Law Society found that 45% of the solicitors surveyed stated that they intended to prepare HIPs in house, but even we were surprised at the rate at which enquiries and orders are pouring in.'
'Our Milton Keynes HIP facility is really buzzing with activity right now and we are switching resources to meet demand. The number of enquiries is growing all the time, and at the current rate there may well be 1000 enquiries within the next week or so which is already a fair proportion of all conveyancing solicitors'.
The Law Society bureau HIP is designed as a reliable, easy to use service that allows solicitors to prepare packs quickly and conveniently. Core pack components are prepared to order for the individual solicitor who then adds any further items - such as leasehold documents - completing the HIP.
The bureau HIP is available from OyezStraker and Stat Plus, both members of the OyezStraker Group, a trusted supplier of office products, business services and HIPs to the legal profession. It is available to solicitors in England and Wales who are members of the Law Society.
How The Law Society bureau HIP works
Solicitors will be able to place their order for a HIP via phone, email or fax. They will then receive an emailed order summary to be checked, approved and returned to the bureau. Upon receipt, a second email, containing a HIP order confirmation certificate will be sent directly and active marketing of the property can begin.
A printed copy of the HIP order confirmation certificate, in a high quality HIP binder will be sent by courier to the solicitor. As each element of the bureau HIP is completed an electronic version will be sent by email. Once all components have been completed, a high quality, full colour set is printed and dispatched by courier. The solicitor can then add these components to the binder, completing the HIP.
The Law Society bureau also offers a HIP starter kit as an alternative for solicitors who wish to compile HIPs in-house. They can order Law Society branded binders and TransAction Forms from the bureau and insert the remaining relevant HIP documents that they have ordered themselves.
