Recently, Page 1 Solutions was nominated for national recognition of its green power usage with the EPA's Green Power Partner program. Page 1 has made green power usage a core element of its business and Page 1's staff is confident that even though Page 1 is a small business, their efforts will have a large positive impact. Page 1 purchases 100% green energy and reduces energy consumption throughout the company by creating both employee and community awareness, as well as continually looking for eco-friendly alternatives to traditional energy sources.
In addition to efforts to reduce energy consumption with green alternatives, Page 1 also partnered with the Arbor Day Foundation's Trees for America Program and Rain Forest Rescue to plant 10 trees and preserve 1,000 square feet of rain forest for each new website design developed for its clients.

Moving forward into 2010, Page 1 plans to continue building awareness of alternative energy sources and eco-friendly solutions. In 2009, Page 1 received an award from the State of Colorado for Environmental Leadership and hopes to be recognized again in 2010.
