This award comes from the Internet Advertising Competition (IAC), which is a division of the Web Marketing Association (WMA). The IAC Awards were created in 1999 as a way to recognize online advertising through a variety of competitions. Up until 1999, there were no competitions dedicated solely to online advertising.
