An inventory of the items includes thousands of toilet paper rolls, facial tissue boxes, toothbrushes, tubes of toothpaste, razors, shaving cream cans, combs, new fleece blankets and more.
This continued help comes after the Palm Garden Hotel has been offering its' rooms and facilities to the victims displaced by the fires since last Monday morning. "We are happy to be here for our community, and help where we can. We have a full house but want to continue to do our part " said Steven Ortmann, General Manager of the Palm Garden Hotel.
When asked what motivated their generosity, Ortmann said, "Our community is deeply affected by these devastating fires, and the least we can do is offer what we can to those in need." Ortmann went on to say "A church Ventura called us and asked if we would help, and I am more than happy to do so."
Pending room availability, the Palm Garden Hotel is also providing discounted Standard Room Rates of $119 and $139 Courtyard Room Rates, to anyone in need starting this week. Pet-friendly and hypoallergenic room accommodations are also available for anyone displaced with animals.
