Ms. Compton has 30 years of professional experience and excels in conducting presentations to public businesses to generate donations for United Way. Her desire to make a difference in people's lives and the need to give back to the community prompted her to pursue her current position. Ms. Compton began her service to the community by providing assistance to two United Way agencies. That number has since grown to 17 agencies, and Ms. Compton now administers grants of over $ 95,000 to five counties in Eastern Kentucky. Ms. Compton is humble and works hard to help promote the needs of United Way. After her retirement, she intends to continue serving the community.
