Ms. Garcia's professional background encompasses several roles, including program manager for Nortel Networks, and director of distance education for Regent University.

Certified as a project management professional, Ms. Garcia excels at time management, leadership and fulfilling shifting project requirements. She considers her greatest accomplishment to be her tenure with the Marine Corps. Educationally fitted, Ms. Garcia earned a master's degree in military studies from American University in 1994 and a Master of Business Administration from National University in 1982. Awarded the Professor of Naval Science full scholarship, Ms. Garcia also earned a bachelor's degree in industrial psychology from the University of Utah, from which she graduated cum laude.
