Speaking to the Daily Telegraph newspaper, he said he was inspired to launch an online presence following a trip to America, "where every single advert was for

But while Mr Adams-Mercer has now earned a respected place as one of the UK's top business leaders, he remains proud of his background and his first job learning how to sell on Bolton Market when he was still at school.
He said: "I don't mind being compared to Del Boy. That's what I am, a market trader done good.
"I don't do joined-up writing and I can't spell for toffee. So doesn't that give everyone a chance? If I've done it, you can do it."
