Pardee Homes' Carmel Valley master-planned community was ranked number 47 nationwide on the
John Burns Real Estate Consulting list of top-selling master planned communities in the United States for 2011. With 147 new homes sold in the Carmel Valley area, Pardee was among just five builder/developers in California to make the list.
The top-selling master planned community in the nation was The Villages, an active adult community in the Orlando, Florida area with 2,307 sales. Irvine Ranch in Southern California was also in the top five. This is the second year that John Burns Real Estate has compiled this list, which included 131 projects in all areas of the United States, representing nearly 23,000 new home sales during 2011.
