/24-7PressRelease/ -- The Southern California homebuilding industry is giving new home shoppers and buyers a chance to vote for their favorite community in the Buyer's Choice competition, and six of the nominated communities are by Pardee Homes. A first ever, Buyer's Choice is part of the SoCal Awards, the industry's celebration of marketing excellence.
Everyone who casts a vote at one of the 58 participating communities will be eligible to win a family Disneyland vacation, a Wii gaming package featuring "Rock Band: The Beatles," gift cards from Target and Home Depot and one year of Cox Cable or Direct TV service.
"Buyer's Choice gives us a new, direct way to hear from our home shoppers, home buyers and Realtors and we are delighted," said Joyce Mason, vice president of marketing for Pardee Homes. "We hope for a great voter turnout to our nominated neighborhoods!"
Buyer's Choice Awards for Community of the Year will honor the top vote getters in each of four regions--LA/Ventura, Orange County, the Inland Empire and San Diego. Prospective voters can visit these communities and cast their vote in special ballot boxes at the respective model home centers. Voting will be held from July 18 through August 31, and winners will be announced when all votes are tabulated.
Pardee Homes' nominated neighborhoods are situated in established master-planned communities. In the Los Angeles/Ventura counties area are Cherry Hill and Waverly Place at Moorpark Highlands by Pardee Homes, and Oak Crest at Fair Oaks Ranch, also by Pardee Homes. In San Diego, Pardee Homes' nominated neighborhoods include Bridle Ridge at Carmel Country Highlands and Manzanita Trail at Pacific Highlands Ranch; both master-planned communities are by Pardee Homes.
Candlewood at The Preserve in Chino rounds out Pardee Homes' nominated neighborhoods. This Inland Empire master-planned community is by Lewis Community Developers.
