/24-7PressRelease/ -- Pardee Homes announces the promotion of John Anglin to Senior Vice President, Construction and Purchasing. Anglin assumes his new position with the April retirement of Randy Myers. Anglin is a 30-year veteran with the company, serving most recently as Senior Vice President, Purchasing.
Anglin will oversee construction activities for Pardee Homes in all of its markets, playing an integral role in implementing the company's development plans for new homes and communities. Noted for lifestyle designs that also feature energy efficiency, advanced technologies and other sustainable concepts, Pardee Homes is active in California's San Diego, Inland Empire and Los Angeles/Ventura regional markets, and in Las Vegas.

Anglin's tenure with Pardee Homes began in 1978 in the field as a construction laborer, with promotions to assistant superintendent and then superintendent. He began his work in the company's purchasing department as a contract administrator, later serving as senior contract administrator of purchasing for Pardee Homes projects in Nevada and California.
Anglin was Pardee Homes' first Riverside County area construction manager. In 1997, he was named vice president, purchasing, and promoted in 2002 to senior vice president of this department.
Anglin holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from San Diego State University and an M.B.A. at California Lutheran University. A native Californian, he makes his home in Ventura County.
