/24-7PressRelease/ -- Pardee Homes has earned five Silver Awards in The Nationals, with judges of the annual competition noting the homebuilder's achievements in creating and marketing its new homes and communities in California and Nevada. The Nationals program is sponsored by the Sales and Marketing Council of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) and recognizes excellence in new home design, merchandising and marketing and advertising.
This year's competition drew more than 700 submittals from throughout the nation. Award winners will be celebrated January 19 as part of NAHB's annual International Builders Show in Las Vegas. Highlighting the celebration at Caesar's Palace will be Gold Award winners, which are chosen from the pool of Silver honorees. See

The Nationals judges noted new home communities from two of Pardee Homes' principal new home markets. Both winning projects also took top prizes in the 2009 SoCal Awards, a regional celebration of Southern California new home marketing.
Manzanita Trail earned three Silver Awards. Plan Two was honored for architectural design; the model center earned kudos for its landscape design and the sales center took a Silver Award as an interactive point of sale experience. Manzanita Trail has also been honored for its green and sustainable design features, and is a best seller for Pardee Homes, which is also the developer of its eco-friendly master-planned community,
Pacific Highlands Ranch in San Diego County.
In Los Angeles County,
Oak Crest at Fair Oaks Ranch in the Santa Clarita Valley took two Silvers for Unique Space, with judges touting the flexibility of its Plan Four-X guest suite and its Plan Three laundry/hobby room.

Consultants who contributed to Manzanita Trail's winners include MVE Architects, SJA Landscape Architecture, Inc. and VisionScape Imagery. LJG Architects designed both of the Silver Award winners at Oak Crest.
