On Sunday, March 8th, some 25,000 competitors are due to take part in the event, which is scheduled to begin at 10:00 local time on the Esplanade of the Chateau de Vincennes.

At present, the male record stands at 1:00:26 and was set in 2007, while the women's is 1:09:37 and dates back to 1997.

The race takes in notable streets such as Route de la Pyramide, Place de la Bastille and Avenue de la Porte de Charenton.
