With an impressive background of more than 62 years in spiritual services, Pastor Raburn is responsible for preaching, providing guidance to hospitalized patients, scheduling and arranging weddings and funerals, managing finance and organizing youth programs. Also an expert in playing musical instruments, she began her career in the ministry as an associate pastor and previously worked as a custodian for a youth camp. She considers being instrumental in the reopening of churches that have been closed to be the most fulfilling aspect of her career, and she attributes her success to her faith in God. Pastor Raburn completed coursework in Bible and pastoral work at Southeastern University in 1947 and volunteers for the American Red Cross.
